I enjoy speaking to groups, and have developed talks on several subjects. I gave them around Santa Fe, and found it a great way to introduce skills and concepts to others. Depending on transportation and incidentals, it usually is free.I have received many inquiries, and may similar topics and questions come up.

Topics

If we can arrange for me to speak to your group, I will focus on the topic that you choose. Typically it will have to do two things: create excitement and interest in your group, a sort of passion; and it will have to provide some useful information immediately and for the long term.

We can join together and design an experience that creates a spark of interest and enthusiasm. It has to be fun to be really valuable. I believe learning is a celebration. Challenge and profit are an important part of that idea, as well as growth.

Talks can be short or long. Twenty minutes is comfortable for a sales meeting or Rotary lunch. I teach with dialogue and discussion, and count on questions. I can provoke with examples or role play that demonstrates a point.

Longer talks evolve into speeches or classes, though the style remains informal and open to questions. I am well prepared and ready, casual and warm, but have often been asked great questions I can’t answer. That leads to lively group discussion.
